Student Essay Writing Competition

We are launching Student Essay Writing Competition for high school students to discover essay writing talent from the students and engage them in mind-boosting activities during these holidays vis a vis COVID-19 pandemic.

Topic: "Sanitary pads should be free; condoms should be sold. Sex is a choice; menstruation is not."

Important dates

The submission process will run from 21^st July,2021 till 1^st August, 2021. Top 10 finalists will be published on our blog 13^th August,2021 for social media votes which will close on 19^th August at 12pm Rwanda Time. The first 3 winners will be announced on our blog 20^th August, 2021 and their prizes will be provided right away.

Inclusion criteria:

Be a high school student in Rwanda who have currently completed either S1, S2, S4 or S5 in this academic year. 

Rules

• Language for the essays will be English only
• You should be the only author of your essay, no co-author
• Formats accepted are .doc, .docx  (Word documents)
• All essays will be checked for plagiarism. Plagiarized essays will ne rejected
• Your essay document to be submitted should be named in this form: Your names, Title of your essay. And then be uploaded in the "Add file" space of the Google form.

1st Prize: 25,000Rwf

2nd Prize: 15,000Rwf

3rd Prize: 10,000Rwf
